Clientele Education: Clientele Connector
Description
This is a 2-day course that will provide hands-on training in the installation
of Connector Server and remotes. It will also train the user to develop scripts
for a variety of data slicing needs. The class also discusses various
maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.

All Clientele classes assume that students have a
solid knowledge of Windows NT and 95, and a basic understanding of relational
databases. Before attending Clientele Connector you:
- Should know how to copy, rename, and delete
files in Windows. You must be comfortable with subdirectories and the
AUTOEXEC.BAT, .INI, and CONFIG.SYS files.
- Should know what a relational database is and
be familiar with general database terms.
- Should understand how your company plans to
use Clientele.
- Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft
Access for database maintenance, reporting, queries, and importing.
Prerequisites
Students must have successfully completed the Sales & Marketing class, the
Customer Support class, or the Help Desk class, or have received approval to
attend from the Manager of Professional Services. Students must also be
proficient in MS Access.
Course Length & Class Hours
2 days. Class will begin at 8:30am and end at 4:30 pm. Actual times may vary
depending on the progress of individual classes through the material.
Class Size
Class size is limited to 12; a minimum of 5 students is required for the class
to be held.
