Clientele Connector: Requirements
Minimum Requirements for Connector Server Site
- Clientele 7.0 (SQL Server Installation)
- Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 or later
- Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0 Service Pack 3
- CPU: 200 MHz Pentium Pro or Pentium II-class machine (minimum)
- Memory: 64 MB RAM (minimum)
- Hard Disk: 80 MB, plus space for user data
- Display: 800 x 600 (minimum), 1024 x 768 (recommended)
- Communication: TCP/IP communication protocol (e.g., RAS, Dial-up, WAN, ISP). Speed will vary depending upon connection type.
- Modem: High-speed (28.8 kbps or more) if connecting by modem
Minimum Requirements for Connector Client-Remote Site
- Clientele 7.0 (SQL Server or Shared Access Installation)
- Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 for workstation or server
- Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 or Microsoft Access97
- CPU: 200 MHz Pentium Pro or Pentium II-class machine
- Memory: 64 MB RAM
- Hard Disk: 80 MB, plus space for user data
- Display: 800 x 600 (minimum), 1024 x 768 (recommended)
- Communication: TCP/IP communication protocol (e.g., RAS, Dial-up, WAN, ISP). Speed will vary depending upon connection type.

Minimum Requirements for Connector Client-Mobile User
- Clientele 7.0 (SQL Server or Shared Access Installation)
- Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 or later; Microsoft Access97
- Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 for workstation or server
- CPU: 133 MHz Pentium
- Memory: 32 MB RAM
- Hard Disk: 64 MB, plus room for customer data
- Display: 800 x 600
- Communication: TCP/IP communication protocol (e.g., RAS, Dial-up, WAN, ISP). Speed will vary depending upon connection type.
- Modem: High-speed (28.8 kbps or more) if connecting by modem
Note: Connector requires that TCP/IP be installed and configured on the Connector Server machine and at all Connector client sites. This is the Connector customer’s responsibility. If you have a large number of client sites, you will probably want to use the Internet for connectivity. Issues such as individual ISP accounts, server firewalls, etc.
