Epicor Wins CRM Excellence Award From C@ll Center CRM Solutions and Communications Solutions Publisher

Technology Marketing Corporation Honor Confirms Epicor’s Leadership in Providing World-Class Customer Relationship Management Solutions

IRVINE, Calif., May 3, 2000 - Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), publisher of Communications Solutions and C@ll Center CRM Solutions magazines, last week awarded Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), the largest provider of enterprise business performance software exclusively for midmarket companies, one of its first annual Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Excellence Awards. Epicor accepted the honor at a ceremony held during the Communications Solutions Expo in Washington, D.C.

“We are honored that TMC selected us for one of the first CRM Excellence Awards,” said Mike Pennell, vice president of product marketing for Epicor. “The award is a testament to our dedication to providing midmarket enterprises with industry-leading sales and marketing automation and customer support solutions. Judging for the CRM Excellence Award competition was based on the product provider’s overall contribution to the advancement of CRM, with an emphasis on technologic innovation and product feature sets. Awardees were chosen by a panel of editors at TMC, a source for CRM news and product information since 1982. Winners will be published in the June 2000 issue of C@ll Center CRM Solutions and listed on TMC’s website at www.tmcnet.com. The award was presented by Rich Tehrani, president and group editor-in-chief of TMC.

“Our editors selected Epicor for its innovation and vision, as well as for the outstanding impression its products have made amongst market constituents,” Tehrani said. “We were pleased to award Epicor our highest honor and recognize the exemplary contribution its products make to the industry.”

The CRM Excellence Award is the fourth such honor garnered by Epicor’s CRM solution, Clientele. Earlier this year, the software was named to the Top 30 CRM software selections by premier CRM analyst firm, ISM Inc. Clientele also recently won “Gold Best in Class for Customer Service and Support” at the First Annual Users Choice Awards sponsored by Customer Support Management magazine and RealMarket Research, and the Call Center Product of the Year Award for “Best Sales and Marketing Automation Software” by the TMC publications C@ll Center CRM Solutions, Internet Telephony and Computer Telephony Integration.
