Your flexibility was terrific for us when we added things at the last minute and made changes right up to and after the ‘go-live’.  I have to chuckle when I think of sitting on the front room floor laid out with networking cables an hour before your flight.  Even though we neglected to provide the equipment you needed, you helped us work around those issues and really went the extra mile – with a smile on you face no less!  You don’t get treatment like that everywhere.  Through the hectic pace of our business, you kept right up and didn’t let go of the project when the going got tough.

The application is running smoothly and without and problems, and everything that we had hoped for has been achieved.  We are quite happy with the improved level of service we are able to provide our local customers.  We couldn’t have done it without you.  Your customer service attitude and that of your staff really made it easy for us to decide if we ever need this kind of personal service again, we won’t hesitate to call you.

Kvaerner Industrial Constructors

Kvaerner Industrial Constructors (KIC) purchased Coastal Software’s "Payroll Time Export" bridge program to enable us to download Timberline^® payroll data directly into ADP^®. Since that time, we have processed over 800,000 payroll hours for our 500 man weekly construction payroll without a problem.

We found Mr. Deryk Marien to be extremely helpful in this conversion. At one point when we had made some internal changes that affected our payroll processing, Deryk dropped everything he was doing to reprogram his software, getting us back online within an hour.

This software is nearly transparent on our system, and requires only a few extra steps in payroll processing. We essentially forgot that it is a separate program. Without the software, we would have been forced to either enter the data twice, or to go to a different payroll system.

We would highly recommend the use of this system to anyone with similar payroll needs.

Tilt-Con Corporation

Tilt-Con Corporation uses ADP for processing our payroll.  We also use a software system specific to the construction industry called Timberline for accounting, payroll estimation and job cost analyses. The task facing Coastal Software was to write a program that would enable us to marry the two systems together. This would enable us to enter payroll into Timberline with the job cost codes that we need to manage our business, and then transfer payroll information into the ADP software where it could then be transmitted for processing. This eliminates duplicate data entry of payroll. 

After some initial tweaking and fine-tuning, the program has performed flawlessly.  I would certainly recommend them for your consideration in software development.
